One complete 30 kW solar energy package model S9 for a slate roof supplying energy for; (1. pre-heating of domestic water (for supply to several std. geyser) 2. max 150 m2 floor heating and 3. swimming (max 50 m3) pool heating), which consist of the following elements:
Customer/Client must provide
- 230 VAC 16 amp power point (phase, neutral, ground) maximum one meter from pump/control setup location
- 1 m2 floor space to HP pump/control setup in garage or similar room
- North facing roof section with relevant size according to the system size with std. slate roofing battens (35x35 mm) spaced 153 mm (plus 3 minus 0 mm) and capable of the extra load of 19 kilo/m2
- 100 mm mineral fibre roof insulation for best possible comfort and reduced need for air-condition - at least in the roof section for the solar panels
- Water proofing vapour diffuser membranes mounted between the rafter and the battens according to our spec seen elsewhere on our website - at least in the roof section for the solar panels
- 50 mm insulation (min. 24 kg/m3 density EPS foam) of floor for best possible comfort
- Access from pump/control setup to roof with solar panels for 2-4 pcs insulated tubings
- Space available in the pool service room for the solar heating heat exchanger
- a roofing contractor, a plumbing contractor, a floor contractor

HelioPower will NOT provide:
- Geysers or their mounting or connections
- Insulation of pool or the pool tubing
- Insulation of pipes in the building - benefit being reduced power consumption
- Slates or mounting of the slates anywhere on the roof
- No tubing, pipe connections to the floor heating circuits or to the shunt/manifolds
- No tubing insulation or floor heating work

Performance in general:
- System performance is vastly depending on the insulation of all tubing and the pool
- Pre-heating of hot tap water will be ranging 30-60C depending on solar irradiation
- One year service intervals will keep the system in good order and max performance
This model S9 also available with larger solar panel for a even larger house.

Plumber company must provide:
- Connection with tubing from cold/city tap water inlet to (BSPT 3/4" conical thread) HP pump/control setup
- Connections from HP pump/control setup to geyser(s) with tubing fully insulated throughout the building
- All tubes, piping insulated carefully before potentially cast into walls and floor throughout the building

HelioPower will further provide:
- Cleaning of site re: HelioPower work
- Three month of free service and calibration of system
- Optionally a service contract for a once per year maintenance visit
- 15 year warranty on panels when the solar circuit is filled with 30% glycol and the glycol is replaced each 5 year by HelioPower

Floor company must provide:
- Complete floor heating circuits, shunt, manifolds and their installations
- Connection to (BSPT 3/4" conical thread) HelioPower floor standing unit
- Insulation of tubings between shunt and HelioPower floor standing unit

Possible further improvements:
- Pool cover will reduce significantly the heat losses and pool water evaporation
- The geyser temp control devices must all be set at >65C for hygienic operation and elimination of the water borne legionella decease
- The pool outlet for the solar circuit connection must be at minimum half way to the pool bottom

Pool company must provide:
- One 50 mm PVC outlet after main filter and before the pool inlet for/and connection to the pool of the 30 kW solar heat exchanger (connections are outside BSPT 5/4" cylindrical thread)
- One extra 50 mm PVC insulated tubing from solar heater unit to pool inlet

Roofing company must provide:
- Natural stone slates - thermally bonded onto the cassettes with BituSun glue provided by HelioPower
- Cladding of the roof - slates glued onto the solar panels
- Limited use of bitumen felt/maltfoid - only the edges around the solar panel
