Colours

The required solar collector area for any water heating is dependent on the angle, orientation of the roof towards the sun, the colour of the collector surface materials and the wind factor. Darker colours or even fully black are better than lighter colours on the collector surface which reflects the solar power. If the surface is covered with glass, eliminating any wind, the efficiency is even higher.



Pool covers for children: safety and comfort

As seen on the graph on the top of the page, the pool cover also increases the pool temperature. Simply by reducing the evaporation and you thereby reduce the energy taken from the pool water.

As to the conceptual design and technology the HelioPower solar system will not overheat, go into stagnation mode or explode when the area experiences a power loss. Simple elements for your safety.
